I'm coming from the book bound game jam, I also did Carmilla. I love this game concept, it was very fun to play. It is  cool to see how we translated the book in two different ways!

Thank you for checking out our game!! I only have a mac so I haven’t been able to check out your submission yet, but I love that we both decided to adapt Carmilla! If you ever release a Mac version of your game I’d love to play it.

omg I am a sapphic vampire how did you know :O

I really like the core loop: collecting clues from dialogues and eavesdropping on guests! The goodwill indicator is super helpful: it keeps me from brute-forcing the dialogue options and nudges me to plan my steps carefully.

Clues around are not highlighted as something I can pick up, I am a bit conflicted about this, to be honest. On one hand, it motivates me to engage with the environment more, for sure. On the other, I find myself walking around every couch and pressing Space in the hope it's a clue. However, some of them are distinguishable from the surroundings and when you pick them up it sparks that joyful moment "Aha! I knew it!".

Dialogues are fantastic and immerse me in the atmosphere of high society, intrigues, and gossip. However, I often notice myself completely forgetting what responses were after the dialogue is done. Might just be my weak memory but maybe a log or journal of sorts could be helpful to reference back?

The Lady in a Rabbit mask's portrait is gorgeous! Overall art direction is very well-chosen I think!

And lastly, I appreciate the sense of intrigue and mystery in this game! Thank you for crafting it!

thank you so much for the in-depth review!! our team is in the middle of reworking the UX for the next update!

Grammar is odd in some places but otherwise interesting with a cool premise!
